beyond busy.

it's been a long time for a post of any such detail, but i have been so busy and exhausted lately. but that's a good thing, always.
I started my new job at portland state university as the chemistry stockroom supervisor and have been so busy learning how it "works." i am excited about making some order out of chaos. and i am excited about taking classes at portland state with our massive tuition discount. but what classes??? we'll see how to fit that into the busy schedule.
i've been riding my bike to work everyday.
but, now that it is snowing i don't know how long that will continue, or how long the snowy season is here.
I am really enjoying the weather, but ask me in a couple of months and i might say something different... my bike ride to work is also only 15 minutes on a bad day, and the best part is riding over one of many bridges.
i have also been running a little bit.
AND we are moving.
thankfully only 8 blocks away, but it is still a move, nonetheless.
ready to settle in a little more and not have creepy landlord spying on us!
this might be the time where the essence of portland shows itself. i heard a foghorn yesterday. and a train engineer honking back with a little squeak of a train horn. people here are all bundled up and heading to movie madness.

Good luck with everything! I'm glad you found a job and a better place to live!

I don't think it snows a lot in Portland? Just, the rainy season will last till July!

I'd get ready for movie madness too! My Brother swears he ran out of movies to watch during the winter and thus, moved back to Denver!

That sounds beautiful! Definitely a multisensory day. I am beyond envious.

Congrats on the new job - I know that you will rock it. Keep me updated on the courses you are/will be taking! I'm always very curious.
